When you've finished preparing baby's meals: purée, jams... you'll naturally want to store them in the best containers. An easy and healthy way to store baby's meals in these Isy Bowls made from borosilicate glass.

Why choose storage containers in borosilicate glass?

The Isy Bowls are made from 100% recyclable borosilicate glass, which is 2 to 3 times stronger than normal glass.
The advantage of using borosilicate glass is twofold. As well as being endlessly recyclable, it is also long-lasting due to its resistance to high temperatures (around 300°C) and thermal shock. As well as being an eco-friendly and durable material, glass is ideal for storing food as it retains flavour. You can therefore use it in the freezer, microwave, oven, bottle warmer and bain-marie (or any other appliance that heats by steam). This makes it really versatile, suitable for a variety of uses. No need to wait for the food to thaw out in the refrigerator before heating! Saves precious time.

Really practical, the Isy Bowls are also dishwasher-safe and can be sterilised. No leakage possible with their airtight silicone lids. What's more, they do not stain when they come into contact with food (such as carrot or tomato).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob S. from Versatile and high quality The product name uses the word â€œbowlsâ€, but these are jars, not bowls.The pack I received for review was the one including an additional three smaller jars.Although they are marketed to use for baby food, they can be used for storing any food at all. They arrived just in time to store Christmas leftovers. We have some cranberry sauce in one, a small amount of potato salad in another and a few mixed veg in a third.The lids are a perfect fit, so no odour can escape; as they are silicon, they are flexible enough to pop on and off very easily with no effort, but they also stay in place.The jars are made of borosilicate glass, so they are virtually unbreakable. You can use them in the microwave, the fridge or the freezer without worrying if they are going to shatter due to temperature shock. We have not heated them in the microwave straight from the freezer, but the description says â€œno need to wait for the food to thaw out in the refrigerator before heating.â€The lids have cat faces on them, which as a cat family appeals to use, and the ears have a practical purpose - little tabs to help remove the lids easily.We will be using these for years. They are a little expensive, side but you get what you pay for with these, and they are perfect for any family, whether or not you have babies.
