Canvas:

Resistant but lightweight fabric.

High-density Plywood:

High-density plywood that provides excellent visual properties and resistance. It has the E1 classification with a limited amount of formaldehyde.

Organic cotton:

Cotton derived from organic farming, cultivated in total harmony with Nature, without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Vertbaudet ensures the organic origin of cotton yarn through a qualified body.

Coated cotton:

The coating consists of a specific substance on the surface of the material, so as to give it a waterproof characteristic.

Yarn-dyed:

Knit made from previously dyed yarn.

Epoxy finishing:

Lacquer with durable colours which is resistant to scratching and impact, with less than 2% of solvents in order to respect the environment. What you need to know: all paints used in our products do not contain lead (according to the standard for toys EN 71-3). Thus, the child whose mouth may come into contact with the furniture, is not in danger. The use of some products with finishing can give rise to a mild odour when unpacking: this does not present any risk, but do not hesitate to air out the room if the odour is disturbing.

Nitrocellulose finishing:

Or nitrocellulose lacquer, with a silky appearance and good coating, cellulose-based fibres (vegetable fibre). What you need to know: all paints used in our products do not contain lead (according to the standard for toys EN 71-3). Thus, the child whose mouth may come into contact with the furniture, is not in danger. The use of some products with finishing can give rise to a mild odour when unpacking: this does not present any risk, but do not hesitate to air out the room if the odour is disturbing.

Beech:

Solid wood, with an authentic and traditional look, selected for its natural qualities of durability and resistance. Environmentally friendly, does not need treatment or finishing harmful to the environment.

Hevea:

Solid wood, with an authentic and traditional look, selected for its natural qualities of durability and resistance. Environmentally friendly, does not need treatment or finishing harmful to the environment.

PEFC label:

A label that guarantees manufacturing that minimizes the environmental impact from the extraction of raw materials to the upgrading of waste.

Mango tree wood:

Solid wood, with an authentic and traditional look, selected for its natural qualities of durability and resistance. Environmentally friendly, does not need treatment or finishing harmful to the environment.

Wood fibreboard or MDF:

Fibreboard obtained through the treatment of wood fibres with the addition of resin and bonding at a high temperature, allowing for a perfect finish. What you need to know: all furniture in fibreboard or MDF category E0.5 OR E1 has a limited emissivity of formaldehyde (less than 4 mg/m3 for the E0.5) in order to preserve indoor air quality.

Water-based paint and hydro-lacquer finishing:

Paint and lacquer with low content of solvent (less than 5%) to limit the quantity of emissions into the atmosphere and preserve air quality.

Solid pine:

Solid wood, with an authentic and traditional look, selected for its natural qualities of durability and resistance. Environmentally friendly, does not need treatment or finishing harmful to the environment.

Rip-stop:

Arrangement of threads and weaving to avoid tearing.

Twill:

Very smooth fabric woven diagonally.

Yarn-dyed fabric:

Woven from previously dyed yarn.

Milano knit:

Tight jersey knit with a smooth touch and slightly stretchy, allowing it to drape impeccably. It offers comfort and infallible style.

Jacquard knit:

A motif woven or knitted into the body of the fabric to create a voluminous effect.
