Where is my order?

If all the items on your order are in stock, we normally deliver within 5 to 10 working days. However, because all our products are despatched from France, there may occasionally be a small delay.

Please allow at least 10 working days for delivery before contacting us.

If you have a Vertbaudet customer number you can register with My Account, where you can track your order online on the "View order" page.

How is my balance calculated?

If you have a Credit Account and you have a balance outstanding, we will send you a monthly statement showing the amount you owe. If you have a Credit Account and are registered with My Account, you can check your balance online. Your balance is calculated on a daily basis and will show any payments, returns and new items. When your statement is produced it will include any postage and packing charges, any interest charges and any other charges, for example for insurance products. The minimum monthly payment is 5% of the balance owed or £5, whichever is the greater. Minimum payments are rounded down to the nearest pound. A minimum monthly interest charge of 50p applies when there is a balance on your account.

A Credit Account is a credit agreement available subject to acceptance to UK residents aged 18+. Credit Account Example: cash price and amount of credit £300. Representative 35.9% APR variable. Interest rate 31.1% variable. By applying for a Credit Account you consent to us performing a credit search.

Can I return unsuitable items and is it free?

We want to make shopping with Vertbaudet hassle-free so we provide a free exchanges and returns service through which you can return items without incurring the cost of return postage by contacting us or our courier within 14 days of receipt of goods ordered.

Each parcel contains a delivery note listing items enclosed and explaining if we have been unable to send some of your order. Keep this until you are satisfied with everything. Then, if you wish to return any items, just fill in the returns form attached, stating your reasons for return. This will enable us to address any issues. If your goods are delivered by our local courier, Hermes, they will collect your return parcel free of charge.

For your convenience, our returns service is FREE♦. You can return or exchange (subject to eligibility) any item through our courier network service FREE♦ of charge within 14 days♦ of receipt. For exchanges, any discounts will be carried across and we won't charge you again for delivery.

As mentioned above, we provide a free exchanges and returns service so you can return items without paying return postage. Items must be returned in original condition. Once we receive items, we refund the cost of those items using the method you used to pay. The standard delivery or Next Day Delivery P&P charge you paid (if any) will not be refunded but you will not pay return postage.

We recommend you use the above free returns service where we manage the safe return once you hand items to your local Hermes courier but you also have the right to return items under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 by notifying us that you wish to cancel within 14 days following delivery. If you opt to cancel under the Regulations, you must arrange and pay for the return of items and take care to ensure returned items are received undamaged. Once we receive items, we will refund the cost of those items using the method you used to pay. If you cancel an entire order transaction and the order was delivered by standard delivery (rather than Next Day Delivery), we will also refund the £3.99 P&P charge you paid (if any) but you will have paid return postage. If you cancel an entire order transaction delivered by Next Day Delivery, the terms are slightly different. Next Day Delivery is an additional service provided under a separate contract and can only be cancelled under the above Regulations by giving notice of cancellation in writing or another durable medium up to the point at which we start to provide that additional service. If, after choosing and paying for Next Day Delivery, you cancel an entire order transaction under the Regulations within 14 working days after delivery, we will only refund the £3.99 standard delivery charge and not the additional £1.99 charge for Next Day Delivery.

Each parcel contains an up-to-date delivery note, listing items enclosed and explaining if we have been unable to send some of your order. Keep this until you are satisfied with everything. Returns at myHermes ParcelShops

Easy and convenient, myHermes ParcelShops are open 7 days a week, early until late. Simply attach the myHermes ParcelShop returns address label to your parcel and take it to any shop. Find your nearest shop at www.myhermes.co.uk/parcelshopfinder

Arranging a collection

To arrange a collection at a place and time to suit you, simply call your courier directly using the contact details on the outside of your parcel. You can also take your returns to a Post Office if this is more convenient for you - please see your delivery note for further details. Just like our courier service, you will not pay for postage on items returned through the Post Office. Alternatively, you can request a collection by visiting vertbaudet.co.uk and clicking on MY ACCOUNT. You can email queries@vertbaudet.co.uk and request a courier collection, or call our automated service on 033 0303 0191, selecting option 3. Once you've arranged your collection, your local Hermes courier will collect your parcel within 2 days.

Next day delivery

Next Day Delivery is currently only available on orders added to a Vertbaudet Credit Account†. Your goods and a Next Day Delivery Charge of £1.99 (additional to the standard £3.99 delivery charge) will be added to your next statement. Customers may not be able to use the Next Day Delivery service if their account is not up to date, has become dormant, or has insufficient funds. Next Day Delivery is not available for non-mainland UK addresses. The service will not be available on UK Bank Holidays and we reserve the right to remove the Next Day Delivery offer at any time. Please allow an additional day for delivery on orders placed after 5pm Monday to Thursday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday or after 5pm on Friday, will be delivered on Tuesday. All items must be in stock at the time of ordering to be eligible for Next Day Delivery. Please allow until 9pm on the day for delivery. Next Day Delivery is an additional service provided under a separate contract. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further information, including details of your right to cancel that service.

Our courier delivery service covers most of the UK, but in some parts of the country our couriers operate on alternate days. Free Delivery is valid on orders of £60 applies to the Standard Delivery charge only.

Just follow the instructions on the note, making sure you write down your order number. We'll need these details to process your return.

Most of our Autumn-Winter catalogues are delivered between July and September, and our Spring-Summer Catalogue between January and March. How do I place an order?

There are 3 easy ways you can shop with us: online, by phone and by post :

Online - www.vertbaudet.co.uk - the quickest way to order from your online collections - Click on the navigation tabs at the top of the page (i.e. Baby, Girls, Maternity, etc.) to go through to our online collection. Select a range from the left hand list, then click on any product image for more information and to check availability. From there you can add the product to your shopping basket or return to the online collection. To complete your order, click 'Shopping Basket', displayed in the top left-right corner, and follow the simple instructions on screen.

From your printed catalogues - If you have one of our current printed Collections, Click on 'Quick Order from catalogue' at the top of the screen and fill in the details for each item. Then click on 'Add to basket' to check availability and we'll do the rest. Your Shopping Basket will calculate the total value of your order including post and packing.

Special Offers

Where is my gift/discount?

If you have been offered a gift or discount in a promotion, you will also have been issued with an Order Code. It is vital that you quote this code whichever way you place your order, as this confirms your entitlement to the offer. You can find the Order Code on the order form of any promotion you have received through the post, or within the email if that is how we contact you. Unfortunately, if you have forgotten to quote your Order Code when you placed your order, you won't receive your gift or discount on that order. You may still be able to use the Order Code on your next order. Please check the conditions of the Order Code.

How do I know I have received my Special Offer?

If you have applied an Order Code to your order during the “Review order” stage of the checkout process, our system will show your free gift or amount of discount on your Review order page. Discounts and gifts will also show on your statements and delivery notes.

Why charge me for Post & Packing?

It is common for some companies, who do not charge post and packing, to inflate the price of their products to cover this cost. Other companies have a sliding scale of delivery charges; where the more you spend, the more they charge you.

Postage and packing costs just £3.99 per order, no matter how large or small or free when you spend £60 or more.

How to return or exchange goods

How do I exchange an item?

Just call our Customer Care team on 033 0303 0191, between 7am and 10pm, and tell us which item you wish to exchange and the replacement details (catalogue number, size and colour). We can also arrange a return at the same time if you wish.

You will not be charged Post and Packing on exchange items or additional items that you order at the same time.

We can only ensure you are not charged if you call us, if you order a replacement online or by post the charge will automatically be added and you will need to contact us to arrange this charge to be removed or refunded.

How long will it take for a return to show on my account?

I am a new customer - how do I pay for my order?

You have two options: please choose the one most convenient for you.

Pay Now. If you are ordering online, simply enter your Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Visa Debit (Delta) card details. Pay Later. When you place your order you can choose to apply for a Vertbaudet Credit Account (see details below). Later, you will receive a monthly statement, at which time you will have the option of either paying in full or spreading the payments.

You will only be sent a monthly statement if you have a balance outstanding on your Credit Account. The payment "due by" date is show on your statement but you can also check it securely online if you are registered with "My Account".

I am an existing customer with a Credit Account. How much do I have to pay?

What is my minimum payment?
How can I make a payment?
Your minimum payment is shown at the bottom of your current statement. You can choose to either settle your account in full or spread the cost by paying just the minimum amount. Please check your statement for any interest charges and other charges, for example for insurance products.

Making payments to your Credit Account

Via Home Banking: If you have telephone or internet banking, contact your bank quoting our account number 51324217 and sort code 40-02-50, along with your Vertbaudet Customer Number, to make your payment.

Online: Visit vertbaudet.co.uk and using the ‘MY ACCOUNT' facility enter your Customer Number, password and credit/debit card details. We'll then send you e-mail confirmation for your records.

By Phone: Simply call our automated service on 0844 842 0000, select option 3 and have your card details, customer number and date of birth in the following format (dd/mm/yy) to hand. To improve the quality of the service we provide, calls may be monitored or recorded. Confidentiality will be maintained. Calls cost 5p per minute plus a connection charge of just under 6p from BT land lines. Mobiles and other providers' charges may vary.

By Post: Make your cheque payable to Vertbaudet, write your Customer Number and address on the reverse and return it with your statement payment slip. Please don't send bank notes or coins through the post.

At a Bank: Pay by cheque or cash at any bank using your statement and payment slip. This service should be offered free of charge at any branch of your own bank. Make your cheque payable to Vertbaudet with your Customer Number and address printed on the reverse.

At a Post Office: Pay by cash or cheque (payable to Post Office Ltd) at any Post Office using your statement and payment slip. A charge is made for this service. Important! Please make sure your payment reaches us by the date shown on your statement by allowing 4 working days for payments made at Banks or Post Offices, 7 working days if sent by post and 2 working days for payments made online.

Allocating your Payment: Payments will reduce your balance in the following order: charges relating to missed payments, overdue payments and payments not honoured; insurance premiums; interest charges; outstanding balance.

Dispute Resolution: If you have a problem with your agreement, please try to resolve it with us in the first instance. If you are not happy with the way in which we handled your complaint or the result, you may be able to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you do not take up your problem with us first you will not be entitled to complain to the Ombudsman. We can provide details of how to contact the Ombudsman.

Can I make a payment online?

If you have a Credit Account and are registered with My Account, you can sign in, select "Make a payment" and enter your debit/credit card details using our secure connection. We accept most major debit and credit cards.
