As a specialist, vertbaudet has created an indication system for duvets: a measuring unit called TOG. This measurement allows a precise evaluation of the thermic capacity of a duvet. The higher the value of TOG, the warmer the duvet is. The TOG gives a more accurate indication of the warmth factor than the actual thickness of the duvet.
In fact, the thickness can change according to the density (g/m²), the padding and the kind of fibres used. Knowing the TOG value, allows you to select the kind of duvet according to the room’s temperature.
